United Way in Nebraska Establishes Pilger Relief & Rebuild Fund
On Monday, June 16, 2014, two tornadoes touched down a mile apart almost simultaneously travelling through the village of Pilger, Nebraska.  This devastating natural disaster left about 75 percent of the town completely wiped out.
United Way organizations across Nebraska in partnership with the Pilger Community Development Fund, village officials and Midwest Bank, are coordinating relief efforts through the Pilger Relief & Rebuild Fund.  This Fund provides one central trusted site to help the village of Pilger recover and rebuild from this disaster.
